Myofunctional Therapy Services
Consultations
I offer a complimentary, 30 minute, virtual consultation appointment. This appointment gives you a chance to ask any general myofunctional therapy questions. It also gives us a moment to meet and ensure that Myo Minded is the right choice for your treatment.
Please note that consultation is not required before scheduling a comprehensive examination.

Comprehensive Examination
A 90-minute comprehensive examination will help you understand the links between your dysfunctional habits and related symptoms. It is essential for customizing a unique treatment plan for your needs in order to achieve the best possible outcomes. A comprehensive examination appointment is required of all new patients.

The cost for the comprehensive examination is $295.
Personalized Therapy Programs
After your comprehensive examination, we will initiate your customized therapy program. Appointments are scheduled every 2 weeks and will take place virtually through the patient portal, lasting approximately 60 minutes. Each session consists of reviewing symptoms, previously assigned exercises, and instructions on new assigned exercises, which we will practice together.

Through your personalized patient portal, you’ll have access to exercise instructions, treatment documents, billing documents and you will have the ability to ask your therapist questions directly.

The pricing for the therapy program will depend on your specific needs and the information gathered during your comprehensive examination.
Mini Myo Programs
The "Mini Myo" program is designed for children ages 3 to 5 who may benefit from a developmentally appropriate and less structured approach to myofunctional therapy. Through a play-based methodology, we incorporate engaging activities to enhance the enjoyment of exercises while effectively addressing the same four functional objectives.

The program is designed to be flexible in order to meet the needs of this age group by reducing visits to once monthly and offering a selection of functional games to play between appointments over the course of 6 months. This approach helps maintain children's engagement and provides a sense of achievement as they observe their progress.

Mini Myo may be an ideal option if you want to introduce your child to myofunctional therapy, promote nasal breathing, or address harmful habits such as thumb sucking or nail biting, helping to promote healthy oral habits at an early age.
